| Desert Coursers is ideally situated to make day excursions
to some popular tourist destinations like Bechar Mata Temple and its
eunuch devotees, Patan, Sun Temple at Modhera, Jain Temples at Sankheshwar,
Royal Black Buck Range and Nalsarovar. The Sun Temple at Modhera was built
in 1026 A.D. This Temple is dedicated to 'Surya' and is covered with
magnificent carvings. Dholavira is believed to be the largest excavated
Harappan site, where we can organize a special tented camp. The Ikat
weaving (Patola) of Patan is world renowned. The other tourist attractions
easily accessible from Zainabad are Bhuj, Velavadar National Park,
Palitana, Diu, Somnath and Gir. |

Participating in some of the Fairs and Festivals like the dance festival at Modhera, the nomad festival at Dudhrej near Zainabad, the camel fair at Sidhpur and most famous of all, the Tarnetar fair of the Bharwads, is a treat. Accommodation and travel arrangements for these fairs and festivals can be made by us on prior intimation. Exclusive arrangements can be made for groups with specific interests. Travel arrangements to and from Zainabad can be made from Ahmedabad Airport or Viramgam train station.
