The Rabaris and the Bharwads have been cattle rearers since many generations. The Kolis and Bajanias- hunters, musicians and performers of a bygone era used to live in Koobas. Each year, this region also plays host to many nomadic tribes like the Jat who come from the western most parts of Gujarat with their camels and the Halaris who come in from  the Southern most parts of Gujarat with their sheep.
